in the business world, if you dictate the pace of technology, then you can also dictate on the price. this is what happen to Intel now... hinoon, ok ra pud kay pwerteng dako-as gasto sa IP (R&D). dili baya ni charity so, imperative ra pud na kun ang tier 1 or 2 products nila (in our case, the desktop CPU) ang atoang paliton aw, andam gyud ta'g mo shoulder sa price premium. this is the same as AMD on their FX-9590... mahal sya w/ respect sa FX-6300 (na very affordable)... why, tungod tier 1 desktop CPU man ni nila then gamay ra ang gi produce so, nag tangag sya'g premium price tag... then ang mo shoulder kay ang buyers...

kun ang Celeron, Pentium and i3 ang atoang paliton, dili man siguro ni mahal. affordable ra pud ni. but again, kun ad2 ta's i5 & i7 core series (not to mention the Extreme i7 series), medyo, taas2x ang price nila kay ang competition, medyo, awahi man... kun ang tier 1 & 2 offerings sa AMD on desktop CPU, mo battle w/ elbows to elbows with respect to "Performance to power ratio" sa offering sa Intel then ang price, lower gihapon, for sure, mag kisi2x ug price drop ang intel ani... this time, we can't say this statement... "Intel mahal!"...

"Performance to Watt" ratio... basin sa next generation of enthusiast level CPUs, they can beat this show stopper na... hope gyud ko'g maayo ani para maka tilaw ug lami'g technology competition ang Intel and we will see again the best of both Companies specially, the price drop... karon man gud, akoa lang ni ha... a 10% ~ 15% performance gain from the old micro-architecture is a not acceptable... hehehe... pikatan nko sila. dili sila maka kwarta nko ani... ug dili pud ko maka enjoy the ilahang current CPU technology offering ehehehe... my personal rule of thumb is to execute a CPU upgrade if the performance difference is about 30% ~ 35% as minimum... pinug-anay gyud... hehehe... lisod pangita-on si "money"...

kun GPU, if the fps of my current fav FPS game is below 30 fps (average)... granting, its on the games highest GFX quality preset @ 4X MSAA @ my highest monitor resolution... then, mag upgrade pud ko ani... dili ra man ko pili-an... akoa lang kay ma enjoy ko's rig during actual gaming and not during actual bench marking...

Mao sai nkanindot sa balay bro kay intel ko akong manghud amd. So murag updated ghpon. hehe. usahay mogamit mn ko sa iyang com specially naay family member mogamit sa ako pc kay edit videos projects and stuffs. ok ra mn sd kaayo amd. naanad lang gyud kos intel. usa sd nganu wala ko na amd kay di ko sweto. ako manghud ra. haha. pero usahay mo ask ko niya mo tubag ra mn sd sya. pero anyways, anytime or knus.a pede ra mn ko mo balhin amd. boh are okay for me mn. wala mn koy "laban2" sa duha. both are okay jd para nako kay nkagmit kos duha. and so far walay problema
