The CW is taking on a literary classic in one of its first script buys of the 2015-16 development season. The network has put in developmentLittle Women, a drama from rising writer Alexis Jolly, NCIS co-star Michael Weatherly and CBS TV Studios.

A modern take wouldn't hurt yet they chose to go the YA dystopia route. And to keep up with the times, they're half-siblings now. Way to crap up on a classic.

well, the description did mention something about how the sisters will go through heavy stuff and how they will try not to kill themselves (or something to that extent). i'm inclined to think the opposite. kidding.
