yup na install... but ang sayop nako kay nag clean install ko... angay kuno "upgrade" gyud para mo activate ang OEM, then register, then after na register pwede na kuno ka mag clean install...
gi restore nako balik sa windows 7 nga OEM sa laptop... unya balikon nako this time following the upgrade path...
back up nalang daan sa imong files kay dako chance mawagtang na labi na kung mag restore ka sa factory image, wagtang gyud na tanan...
bro, upgrade option imo gi buhat?
nag clean install ko, gamit OEM key sa ilawom sa laptop, wah gi dawat, hahaha!

awsss....
mao jud diay
so we are basically bug testers for 1 year ?!?
i guess this answers my 2nd question
since free for 1 year, wala diay ni need for licence keys noh?
You are eligible for a free upgrade within a year, not a free upgrade for only 1 year (ang pagsabot sa mga tao kay after 1 year expire na ilang license, it's definitely no! that's not true, after you upgrade to Windows 10, it will be yours forever!) Ang pasabot nga 1 year upgrade is the span for you to claim your upgrade until July 29, 2016, after that you need to buy the license already..

That's not right, your Serial Key is not lock on your account which is a (Microsoft account), a free upgrade to Windows 10 will not work on a clean installation because you need to use a Windows 10 product key for you to be able to install it via clean installation. The Windows 10 free upgrade would only work if you're running a legitimate Windows 7 SP1/Windows 8.1 - that's the process you can avail the free upgrade through an "Upgrade" path, not through a "Clean" installation.

Based from what i read its free forever once installed.

I read somewhere that the free upgrade to Windows 10 will expire after one year and that the user will then have to pay for the upgrade. Is this so? Alasdair
No, that’s completely wrong. Once you have installed Windows 10 and made a note of your product key, it’s yours forever. Well, you can use it until Microsoft stops supporting it, which is usually 10 years.
