get the GT 740 on the 2 choices. mas better ni sya para sa internet cafe kay mas gamay ni sya'g power consumption compared sa GTX 550 Ti... dili na lang nako i mention ang performance nila (give & take ni sila. they are of the same league on performance) kay for the internet owner like you, your top priority is "Profit". mao man ni ang bottom line why nag negosyo ug internet cafe dba?

between the 2 GPUs, here's the approx power consumption @ full load...

GTX 550 Ti --> 140 Watts... power sucker kay this is based on the Fermi micro-architecture
GT 740 DDR5 --> 80 Watts... this is a rebranded GTX 650 DDR5... easy on the power consumption, this is based on Kepler micro-architecture

aw. mao sad lagi ako gi consider sir ang power consumption. sige2x salamat sir. libog lang gyud koy kay daghan sad sulti sa forums nga mas pas2x ang gtx 550 ti given same2x ra sila ug price range. kahibaw nka sa manuwaay arte kau mga kanahan, ganhan gyud ug gtx980 ang gpu. haha.

So, I think GT 740 it is.

Dota 2 kasagaran duwa nila sir. usahay CSGO, GTA, WOW, Crossfire, etc. kana ra gud mga duwaa.
kahibaw nka kung pilde pasinglan dayon ang lag. haha.

for Dota2 bro, you can use GT 730 DDR5 (Kepler) mas barato pa ni. or R7 240 DDR5 or 250... nice sila for Dota 2, LoL and the likes... make sure, quad core (intel or AMD... mao ni ang preferred CPU sa mga manuwa-ay ug Source code games like Dota2) ang CPU nimo kay mao ni ang gusto aning Dota2. CPU dependent man ni sya kay Source code game man ni. sayang2x lang ka sa gasto kun sa GPU ka mo birada. on the CPU, the more cores (physical or hyper-threading), the better... kay kun Celeron or Pentium, kun mag lamok na'g maayo, usa ni sya rason sa lag.

unsa man ang current CPU nimo diay? nice ani baya ang mga AMD APU... mao ni ang target gaming titles sa APUs on discrete GPU-less config targeted for Source Code gaming titles...

you can also check Youtube pud para maka benchmark ka sa mga GPU & intended games nimo. pang puno pud sa kaban...

Upgrading ko mga unit sir. I am thinking to recycle ang mga old PC's nga mapuslan pa. maybe boost up nko ang memory to 8GB + GT 740 GPU sa mga DDR3 na nga board. and I'm even considering nga pansakan lang ug GT 740 sa mga DDR2 pa nga board and max to 4GB memory. Tiguwang na ni akong mga PC's mga 3 years old na tingali, Pentium D 2.8 ni sila tanan. Say tan-aw nimo ani sir? resonable pa ni akong gibuhat? hehe. Medyo ngita lang ko maka minus ko gamay kay buying 10 pcs at the same time can hurt my pocket very much. hehe

kun naa lang mapalit na GTX 745 DDR3 OEM GPU dha sa atoa, nice ni na GPU for an entry level rig targeted for gaming. nice ni gamiton for internet cafe.

kumbate ni kay Maxwell based (28 nm) ni sila... the same breed of GPU chip gamit sa GTX 750 & 750 Ti... naka DDR3 lang ni sya...
