for today, palit lang ko daan. basin mo decide ko'g DIY ug GPU based miner napud... its an Asrock H61 Pro BTC... pang lingaw2x ra ni. we all know that GPU mining is not profitable... ehehehe...

powered USB 3.0 PCIe 16x to 1x ang ibutang nko ani nya bro. allow me to share a pic of my previous GPU miner... sa ani na pic, naka 2 x ASL GTX 750 Ti & 2 x MSI R9 270x Hawk ni sya. then akoa ning gi upgrade ug 6 x GTX 750 Ti and a Biostar H61B mobo (5 x PCIe 1x and 1 x PCIe 16x)... the same aning H61 Pro BTC but wla lang additional 2 x molex power. wla man pud gamit kay gamit man ko'g powered USB 3.0 cables... pero, ako ning gi baligya ang rig kay stop ko'g mine ug Altcoin. but, for hobby sake, plano ko'g balig napud ug mine sa LTC Rabbit ug X11 coins... then receive the reward in LTC.




in ani na ang nawong sa powered USB 3.0, molex ~ SATA power cables & converter boards...



by the way, sa LTC Rabbit ko gyud ko nag mine ug X11 coin. auto convert man nila into Litecoin inig hatag nila sa reward. as of this writing, mao ni ang convertion... 1 LTC = 4.62 USD...

yes bro, i-convert nya ang 16x to 1x... mining ra man akoang application ani nya, based sa experiments, mo degrade ug gamay ang performance sa Nvidia GPUs compared to AMD GPUs kun gamitan ani nya. mas pas2x ang hash rate sa naka directly install sa 16x PCIe. pero, gamay ra ang degradation man pud. kumbati kaayo ang hash rate to power consumption ratio nya on X11 algo.

for rendering work load, naa ko'y gi add sa post nako sa taas. comparison na between 6 x GTX 750 (non-TI) vs a GTX Titan on rendering work load on Blender... samotan na kun naka 6 x GTX 750 Ti ang config sa GPU farm samot na ka pas2x...

by the way, suway ko duwa sa akoang GTX 670 SLI sauna ug BF3. mo degrade gyud ang fps nya from 16x to 1x through a powered USB 3.0 cable. akoa man pud ning gi pa mine ang gaming rig nko sauna ug kadiyot (for 2 weeks after ning decide ko na dili na nako sya ibaligya. gamiton na lang sya nko on my main gaming rig)... mao ni ang set-up ai... akoa baya to'ng na capture ang fps nya on BF3 pero, dili nko maka locate ang file.

it's not really new but I got this just recently...

just got an "old" Intel DX58SO [socket 1366]@ wiredsystems, its however an open box but its still alive and kicking and have updated its outdated 2010 BIOS to the recent one ^_^..., and it is paired with Cooler Master: GeminII S524
and it's processor is: ARK | Intel® Xeon® Processor E5520 (8M Cache, 2.26 GHz, 5.86 GT/s Intel® QPI)

The processor came from a heavenly istoryan member ^_^

I can say that the mobo and proc are an "oldy" but I believe it still decent enough!, with TRIPLE memory goodnes!!!
