I've seen a CBR 150 being saved by his rear disk brake when the car in front of him suddenly made a turn. His life was saved by only 10% braking.

With a speed of 40kph, rear braking only can just do the job, but on high speed it can cause fishtail and a high side crash.

If you know physics, front wheel jud ang naay dako nga stopping power.

I hope you are not a newbie rider or someone who has not experienced such. Fishtailing can cause crash if you don't know what to do. What that rider did, he used his rear break hard, let go once na sugod na ug fishtail to balance off the motorcycle, then hard break again.

Not only i've seen him do it, i've experienced doing the same thing to stabilize my motorcycle. And it was a raining at that time. I swerved to my right and i let go of the break and i was able to prevent accident.

Like what you said, front kay mas dako ug stopping power. Dako. So if you know how to properly use your rear along with your front, you're a lot safer. I know you know physics, i just hope you know both breaks can provide proper stopping power, IF you know how to use the rear, though, other wise wala nalang unta butangi ug rear break ang mga motor.

I was giving this tips for the newbies. Practice front braking technique especially for those riding with entry level standard sport bikes and loves riding in the twisties/cornering.

Korek ka, kung kahibaw ka mo regain traction/balance most likely maka survive jud ka ug high side crash. sayon ra makasurvive kung straight running fishtail, pero in cornering while leaning nya mulock ang rearwheel good luck nalang. So to prevent high side crashes practice and master front braking technique, but it doesn't mean you don't use rear brake anymore. Point is, 90%front-10%rear ang dapat paggamit sa brakes. Dili kay rear brake nalang jud imong primary brake nga gigamit, mahadlok mo gamit ug front disc brake, sayop na..

In my early years of riding mc, I have a couple of near crashes due to clocked rear wheel and even front wheel, I've survived all of those because i knew how to handle that situation. But if you're riding on a CBR150R and someone saw you having a rear locked wheel (fishtail), maka ingon jud nga newbie paman ning tawhana sa braking technique.

OnT: Dili issue nga drum brake lang gihapon ang FZ16.. Ang importante front disc brake.

in the end..who doesnt want an FZ16 with front and rear disc brake for d same/lowered price? there are pros and cons with disc brakes but i still think disc brakes if properly used is way better than drum brakes. nuff said.

i dont see any reason why "kuyaw" gi disc brake ang raider 150.. aside dat it will add "looks" sa raider 150,it also adds more stopping power if properly used...i think most people dont realize how good disc brakes are, compared to drum brakes. disc brakes are superior especially sa wet weather kay dli magpundo ang tubig sa brake disc unlike sa drum brakes nga mag collecta ug tubig sud sa brake shoes. mas dali ka mga brake sa basa if disc brake imo gamit.

balik ta sa FZ16...daghan ghapon mo palit ana basta sak2 lang ang presyo

ONT: awh walay problema jd nuon if ma disck break or dili ang fz basta barato lng awh daghan jd maka uyon.. hehe..
