Hello mga istoryans!

Share lang ko ani based on my experience. Maybe this would help you in the future. We all know that the retail stores give 1 year warranty, but what do you do if ni lapas na ug 1 year dayon na guba? Here's how:
Step 1: Go to Intel’s homepage and register an account
Intel: Tablet, 2in1, Laptop, Desktop, Smartphone, Server, Embedded
Step 2: No need to login yet. Check warranty status of your processor.
Warranty Center
Step 3: If your processor is still in warranty, click on “Online Warranty & Support (all customers)”
Step 4: Login to your account
Step 5: Click on “New Service Request”
Step 6: From here on, you just need to fill up what’s needed. You need not be very detailed with your descriptions. Kana lang mga importante.
Step 7: Wait for intel’s email. They usually get back to you in a day. And when they do, they give you a number to call. In my case, I called their hotline but no one answered (weird). So I emailed them back and told them they couldn’t be reached, so, they called me. Hehehe

A customer/tech rep will ask you what happened (like did you try troubleshooting etc.). If valid, they will create a ticket for you and will give instructions on what to do next. You do not need to pay for shipping. FEDEX will come and pick up the package for you. You don’t even need the original packaging. They just ask that you properly wrap the processor in a plastic clamshell. No need to return the heatsink as well. Ako ra ni gi share para ma tabangan ta tanan diri. This guide was based on my experience. Others may have experienced lahi na service pero para nako, ok kaayo. Did not spend a single peso. So there you have it mga ka istoryans. Hope maka tabang ni ninyo.
By the way, the whole process took 8 days. Not bad at all, Intel! Extended warranty pa jud!!
