lapu lapu ra kay mao man topic, pero mandaue gud pud, maayo nalang si Jonas ang naka daug basin na lessen na or hopefully mawala gyud unta... ngari man gyud magsugod ang corruption sa lower na position, pinaka obvious kun ma mayor ka sa lunsod or city... bisan barangay captain, gasugod na pangurakot... it is not the ONLY corrupt city in the country but it is definitely the MOST corrupt city in the province of Cebu, if not the entire country right now that's why it is in the limelight.

LOL.. it is in the limelight because the media and the public choose it to be in the limelight. i am not pro-RADAZA neither am i in favor of Lapu-Lapu city's corruption; that's a given. but isolating an island from the rest of the corrupt cities in the province of Cebu doesn't give much justification. instead, you are all directing it in a more bias approach.

i deal with LGU's all the time, in the Visayas & Mindanao. i do not need to prove it to you that LapuLapu is the most corrupt. the forumers who posted here knows what they know. Do you think the lamp post issue among others just blew out of proportion because the media and public simply chose it to be? is that what you are trying to say? think again!

it's just like saying that do we have proof that Erap or Marcos stole all those money to be considered as one of the most corrupt presidents. now that's something to LOL about. hehehe!!!

We have the freedom to say our personal observation and opinion but the bottom line is you need to prove it to court and present evidence for the accusations. It's very easy to accused a person but it's very difficult to proved, Every person who has the money and resources can make any noise to ruin the reputation of the person even its not yet proven. And we Filipino easily believe on what we heard and read since media is a big influence to the people. A person is innocent until proven guilty, Im not in favor of any corruption or any wrong doings of any government officials but let's just handle it fairly. Peace

We do not, cannot or will not present proofs here because this is JUST a forum, not a court. Everybody's statement here is on pure personal account or experience. So the premise should be, the forumer based on his explanation and experience, it is always presumed to be true unless refuted otherwise with a counter-semantic or different experience or circumstance. The bottomline is ISTORYA ra gyud ni atoa tanan diri. But then again, do we need a personal proof that Erap, Marcos etc. stole from this country? If you will say yes, it is either one is being too naive, too idealistic or self-righteous.

And, we are looking at the big picture if you care to read about the OTHER threads but this thread is about LapuLapu ONLY.
