Help! Laptop overheat if running windows 7 ultimate or windows 8.1

Laptop will overheat if running windows 7 ultimate or windows 8.1 mo crash then shutdown lately dli na mo load ang windows 8.1 pero maka boot cya safemode nya naay error ang monitor dli pwedi makataas sa resolution dli sad ma tauran ug driver pero if ubunto linux bugnaw ra cya nya dli jud mo crash nya full resolution... naka try namo ani? BTW Im running ubunto from a usb flash drive. naka try sad diay ko run ani windows 8.1 from a removable drive ok cya pag start pero pag install nag driver sa graphics mo crash na cya.... I think there is somethings wrong with the Graphics card.. 3 yrs old na diay ni na laptop.

HP pavilion DV6 - 6c65ex
proc: 2.2 ghz Core i7 2670QM
RAM: 8gb
Graphics: AMD radeon 7690XT 2gb DDR5
HD 1 TB western digital.
OS: Windows 7 home premium.

dili ni overheat, kay kung overheat dapt ipakita nimo ang temp sa imong cpu. 2nd f mo crash imong hdd naa nay error, get the error. but most like i guess your hdd had bad sector

Trying reformatting it back to windows 7. But b4 installing driver for graphics ok raman way problem pero after installing the driver mo crash na cya dli na mo load ang windows. Nag reformat nasad ko after this ako nani i open kay unusual jud ang ka init dapit sa proc and vga. Bacin wa na mag andar ang mga fan.

nainstall nimo ang ubuntu using flash drive(external) nitry ka ug install sa ubuntu sa imong hdd? mau cguro bai gamit ug lain hdd nga gud or palit ba ka...

R.I.P to your GPU bro, basin need rana ipa reheat imong GPU but not a guaranteed fix, other long term fix would be GPU reballing/reflowing.
