If you really need the cash for emergency, try to sell your item near it's market value, a phased out exotic model like this one should go between 20-30k. Even Apple itself decided to stop making this model since 4 years ago because of very weak sales. No one was interested because those who buy macbooks are looking for portability and 17" is just too cumbersome. Too much overpricing will not help you sell the item especially if it's for emergency. Just a piece of advice, don't get me wrong.

This laptop is good for editing purposes.. Some artists prefer bigger screen.

Even when you go to apple repair center when you decide to have your old model apple products repair you will be paying higher amount and some would cost almost like a brand new..

Your laptop is not nearly good for editing like you say, your integrated chip is way too outdated and will not perform decently. Just take the advice or not, BUT STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE JUST TO SELL YOUR ITEM.
