I also experienced that this morning. I was riding 04L with Plate No. GXT 525 and operator registered to Sheila Balabal. The driver charged me 8.00 pesos along with other passengers. I asked the driver why he's charging 8.00 when it's only 7.00. He replied that the minimum fare is already 8.00 and that I should read the news. I was caught dumb-founded and thought that maybe I just missed something in the internet or local/national news since I go home late after work. The others passengers didn't say anything so I just wrote down the plate# and other details just in case. I couldn't see the driver's license though. So when I got to the office, I looked all over the internet and news sites regarding his claim for 8.00 minimum fare, and I found nothing but this thread in Istorya. So the asshole was making it up. I also have to add that majority of Consolacion (24 Route) jeepneys are charging you 13.00 instead of 12.00 everytime.

Question: Should we report these bastards to LTRB?

OnT: I'm just saying, TS is not alone dealing with those jeepney driver/conductr bastards just like any other typical commuters. I have no time to call LTFRB during working hours. I wonder if there are other channels for our complaints. "An honest centavo is better than a stolen peso." The issue here is about HONESTY. Saun ta man wa may ayo ang breeding aning mga tawhana.

Bro palihug kog ireport na sa LTFRB, ug kung mangayo patawad ang driver ayaw dyod patawara. Update us unsa nay nahitabo. Daghan na na silang nabiktima, ug ang tan-aw ana nila sa mga pasahero tanga, kay tuo-tuo sad sa ila pamakak!
