    Fords and mazdas are all korean built and engineered on the asian market, but the ford on the U.S. are all american engineered units...still waiting for the MAZDA personnel to check the unit....hopefully they cover the damage done hehe, mas maayo siguro i FIXED type na lang ang tensioner kaysa self adjust type kay murag mao ra man gihapon endinga....

    Mazda and Ford mao2x ra gyud ug parts ky based lang sa among Mazda van, kasagaran niya spare parts ky pareha sa Ford Escape.

    kung normal use ra, i believe it should be covered by the warranty kay murag 100k mileage man or 3 years ila coverage, if i'm not mistaken. kung unsay "normal" or otherwise, ang warranty personnel nay mag imbistigar, but i don't think it's prevalent especially og pareha ra silag makina sa ranger. napuno na unta ilang service area karon og wa na untay namalit. like any other brands, naa gyuy tipasi, so to speak but it doesn't necessarily mean gubaon tanan.

    ford ranger 2.2L TDCi ug Mazda bt-50 2.2L pareha ra ug makina maoy ingun ingun sa akoa amigo shop owner akoa gitan-aw sa net parehas man ug dagway ,Logo ra deperensiya sa engine cover.

    First BT-50 unit, stuck-up injectors (2&3) 52K damage for the injectors
    Second BT-50 unit clogged up fuel suction strainer (vehicle shuts down with no hesitation) very hassle in the middle of the road, 8K damage for the fuel lines reflush...
    Third BT-50 unit timing belt snap due to stuck-up auto tensioner bearing ( bent valves but luckily the driver did not start it again) 48K damage
    Now this is the fourth BT-50 unit and worse because all valves are bent and a cracked cylinderhead, still waiting for the MAZDA personnel to drop by in the shop, we have 16 units of MAZDA BT-50 almost half of them goes to the shop almost every week, compared to the TOYOTA hi-lux mubisita lang sa shop para pa-ilis ligid or brake pads and normal PMS

    I think it`s time to re-engineer their crappy engine...nindut unta kung naay defect on the spot asikasuhon dayun nila, murag wa may action...to think ubay mig units from them....
