I got Alcatel Flash Plus from Lazada which got sold-out within 5 minutes (2,000+ stocks) last May 19 for PHP6,190 and Meizu M1 Note from Gizmo Cebu last April 23 for PHP8,790+PHP500=PHP9,290 with clear case. I am torn between both and wish M1N has AFP's amazing Clear Motion Tech (how I wish the video can be saved with it), FM Radio, compatibility with Candy Crush (who knows what others M1N is incompatible) and support https in Dolphin Browser, PHP 6,000+ price, external SD, alternating Dual LTE on both sims, 3,500mah battery, louder speaker, Picture-in-picture, Video-in-video, better video camera controls, clearly OS and built-in apps that's developed more for international English users, and a must-have ClockWorkMod/TWRP(rom development is potentially immense). What else?

M1N has classy looks that can fool many as an iphone 6 plus, exceptional expensive-looking FullHD IGZO screen that's battery-efficient and has amazing good color and highest brightness levels for outside viewing, lightly pressing the only capacitive button to lock and turn off the screen (prevents power button from being worn-out), sliding-up gesture to open the screen (which does not happen when in your pocket),a tad bit faster 1.7 ghz processor, camera is just a little bit better and gets even better with the brighter two-tone flash(the yellow tone corrects the too bright white flash that could wash out pictures) that is good for picture-taking night-time happenings, some compatibility with xposed and xposed modules, rooting is built-in. What else?

Both trounced zenphone 2, Lenovo K3 (while cheap didn't even got sold-out after an hour in Lazada), others more for now with similar price.

Hi boss I'm currently having the same dilemma, I'm torn between AFP and M1N. Currently I'm leaning towards AFP the 2k+ savings is too much to turn down. I'm just concerned with the screen of the AFP does the display not look pixelated? Because it sports a lower resolution than M1N? considering they have same screen size? Thanks Sir

Naa koy 1080p na x265(not x264) compressed movies. I don't see any difference between 720p and 1080p resolutions and therefore is not a consideration in buying between these phones, besides AFP has Clear Motion Tech activated which is sometimes only noticeable on movie but is very amazingly evident when personally capturing videos with your shaky amateur hands. M1N, not because of the resolution, is better-looking because its highest brightness is way higher than AFP and still has correct colors. AFP, i almost forgot has the widest-angled front camera and can be a reason to buy AFP as an excellent selfie camera. If you get all of AFP's stock camera features for pics and vids both front and back, it is more powerful than M1N's. AFP has potential to be more improved in the future because it seems easier for English developers and international community to tweak.

One way I look at it is that M1N (if you have the money, with its Iphone 6 plus expensive looks and great display) is for impressing friends while AFP (with its more amazing complete features, cheaper price and future rom developments) is for impressing myself.

I bought one yesterday and im a happy meize note owner. Nindot kau nga phone. Feels like owning an expensive iphone like phone. I highly recommend this one to those budget concious individuals. This does not feel cheap at all. If i were to choose between zenfone 2, without a mile i will choose meizu m1 note.

Nganung naka ingon man ka nga mas maau ang Meizu M1 note kaysa Zenfone 2 boss? care to share?

For almost same specs and price, M1N is better. Specs Comparison: Meizu M1 Note vs ASUS Zenfone 2 - YugaTech | Philippines, Tech News & Reviews. Another reason tingali kay grabe ang hype ug taas ang expectation because of Zenfone 5. Disappointed ang uban nga excited to replace their Zenfone 5 but thinks there's no point. Some apps won't run on intel. There's more, I think?
By the way, I'm now convinced, I like using my Alcatel Flash Plus more than my Meizu M1 Note. Gwapa lang gyud kaayo tan-awon ang M1N. Grabe ang flash sale. Yesterday kay within 5 minutes ra sold-out. Samot na kay naa 500 discount so PHP5,990 na lang. Next na pud sa June 5.

ambot lang sa new phones sa alcatel, basta ang downside sa alcatel is no support once ma.phase out ang item. and less ra kaayo mga developers.
