1st: When the priest says “the Lord be with you” will the response be “and with your spirit,” instead of “and also with you”? Since when pani giusab?

2nd: Kani grabe nakapakurat nako, The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead. [in older translations, “He descended into hell”
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
    the Holy Catholic Church,
    the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins,
    the resurrection of the body,
    and the life everlasting. Amen.

    Please enlighten me.
before i say anything, id like to point out that i am in no way an authority to this, im just here trying to clear the confusion out,
    as best as i could..

Ok, so let's start with the first query,

in the traditional Roman misal, in a certain point of a mass the following phrase is said:

    Dominus vobiscum...

which is aptly replied with Et cum spiritu tuo,

to say accurately, this reply is translated as and with your spirit.. you can google translate that..
but since the 1970's this phrase was translated as and also with you by the Catholic church, you know, so that it easily relates to the first phrase nga isulti sa pari,..

for some reason nowadays, the church is suddenly in conservative mode.. hence bringing back the original translation back in their slam book.. coz it's the accurate translation to the original latin text..

now on to the second query.. the apostle's creed

long before the apostle's creed there was this Nicean creed, formulated by bishops during Constantine's time, made for the purpose of binding the Catholic Christendom blah blah blah...

save after revisions later it was to become the Christendom's creed, until 1992 when Pope John Paul II issued an official Cathecism, where he changed it into what is popularly known now as the Apostle's creed, with the descended into hell part.,

but again being that the church now is in conservative mode they brought back the old nicean creed with some minor revisions.. kong nakabantay ka usahay lahi nga credo ang gamiton, churches tend to interchange the apostle's and the nicean... and nicean walay descended into hell/dead part, but the apostles creed do..

and i think they changed it to dead instead of hell because it easily relates to the nicean where the latter creed simply said that Jesus suffered death., no mention of him going into hell whatsoever, as what cathecists would have you believe..

Ang huna2x raman gud nato sa hell kay naa diha ang walay kataposan nga kayo which is part true. Pero matod pa sa mga early church fathers like St. Thomas Aquinas, upat ka hugna ang hell, Gehenna, Purgatory, and Limbo of the Children, and Limbo of the Fathers. Ang Gehenna ang pinakailawm ug mao nay hell nga naa sa atong huna2x.. Pero part pod sa hell ang Limo of the Fathers nga maoy pinaka ibabaw, Diha ni descent si JC para pagkuha sa mga old testament saints.

So theologically, He descended to the dead kay mga dead naman tong mga OT saints nga tua a upper portion of hell which is the Limbus.

Gi-ilisan nalang ug "dead" kay lain man ang huna2x sa uban taw kung ni adto sa "hell" si Kristo.

Aquinas was a very influential philosopher of his time, but when he starts going into the supernatural gibberish, he becomes quite the creative artist. Oh what a headache it is to contemplate about the fate of the cannibal on the Last Judgment or how many angels can dance around the head of a pin...or how many sections there are in Hell.

But isn't that the truth about human beings? We know in science that you are more bacteria than you are you (Scientific American).

Amazing bacteria, aren't we all? Some of us left the Medieval Age behind, while others cling on to their superstitions and condemn "modernity" and "humanism" and "secularism"...as if they are bad things. How sad.

these days my friend, satan dont need to be discrete.. he is on the front row center of the stage. you can see him plainly in tv, movies, media, etc.. it's for us to discern what is his works and not.

ahh ok.. ang meaning diay sa changes..
i think tungod ata na sa mga translations...
Latin mass man ata ila gibasehan...
nya ang pagtranslate sa english, daghan kaayo mga possible na words magamit..
pero karon, ang Catholic church nipili lang og mga words na closer to the Latin.
DAW.... sa akong nasabtan lang ha....

pero try lang sad pa-explain sa mga kaila nimu na pari TS.. para ma-elaborate jod nila og tarung.
