    Thankful pa guro sila kung gi pang extend ilang family stay sa Indonesia. Momentarily spared siya but wa siya maistorya didto.
    Di pa siguro katilaw ug resbak ang government.
    Again, for a thousand times : Yes! They should be thankful! the mere fact that MJ was spared from death. Simple. Is that complicated? That is simply my answer.
    Whether it was just a postponement or final I won't hesitate to say "thank you" to the gov't.
    Why? again, if its already too late or not, the ONLY way to gain sympathies and help from the gov't bodies as OF THIS MOMENT is not to say anything stupid ky critical pa kaau ang panahon..Try to suggest but not to criticize/insult. Set aside lng sa na for the meantime. Sounds stupid? yes.. but thats the best way for NOW. Trust me,.

    I just hope bai, I wont catch you here in Istorya.net complaining against government cause you will be eating your words. Kaklaro na the government failed her, moingon pa ka na be thankful.
    kung naa gyud bati makit-an sa gobyerno... naa gyud ikasulti naa mareklamo PERIOD.
    Wow..,OT na ta..this is too general..need to focus on MJ's mother reaction..
    Anyway, I am very open-minded person. If naay maayo nga result, I'd be thankful. If not, then i'll be complaining in right time and place.. because I'm a tax payer. Thats it., pretty simple.
    ...but we are talking about this specific issue here., so for me if I were in their shoes? For now, I won't be doing anything crazy. Lets be thankful.

    funny that the jakarta advocates just backed the previous request and invoking of MLAT, this "advocate" cannot invoke mlat only the head of state or its appointed representative can... so how can a advocate save her if she cant even invoke it?, that advocate may have became the 3rd person that confirm about validity of an ongoing investigation hence widodo may have consider in accepting the request to invoke mlat..... maski tuwad balit-aron, walay gahom ang advocate to stop it, if mlat is not invoke previous i doubt maka tabang ni siya...

    exactly bro, the advocate cannot invoke such thing maski bale balehon pa. Even if MLAT was invoked pero if walay common denominator na mi surrender, kadtong recruiter ni MJ.. walay epek ghapon na. It was Widodo himself who can only stop it, period. But it was stated that "President Jokowi hears and heeds the voice of human rights activists who continue to accompany him in performing his constitutional duties." The thing is he hears them and with a reasoning that “If we kill the victims and tomorrow we find new evidence, how can we be responsible for this, after the execution?” He might be a strict and strong willed on his decision but he was reasonable enough to re-consider another investigation now that new angles have emerged.

    That is your opinion, compare to the grievances and first had experiences of the Veloso family. We cant even totally credit that "last minute decision" to the government. You will give thanks to the govt

    If you cant list whats to be thankful of, except that "last minute remedy" dont compare them to your personal choice; cause you have no idea on what they gone through and then dont bother asking why they resolve to such actions against the government.

    Im just trying to be logical here; and sorry Im just decipering your thoughts and not satisfied with your responses. I know we are going in circles, a different answer might had help.

    I dont see the difference between mga reklamador here sa istorya and sa net against the government and the mother's reaction against the government. Beside time and time again this had happen to many other OFWs. So I repeat this is a reasonable actions.

    I believe she does have the privilege to go against the government like the many other disgruntle people. Plus how many times been posted here that she doesnt need to thank the government cause its their job in the first place

    The US will go to great lengths to save the US service on Laude's case;
    The Aussie pressures the Indonesian govt to hand over the the Australian drug lord;
    The Chinese threaten us to hand over illegal fishermen;
    You see... The other nationalities doesnt even need to ask assistance to their government
