Yaya Meals: Inani na Ggyud ka Discriminated ang mga Katabang?

Ga discriminate man gyud ning mga rich sa ilang mga katabang intawon. Di ba naa man gani to controversy sa una bahin adtong high end condo building in Manila where they had separate elevators for the condo owners and the maids/yayas? Ingon ani jud sa pilipinas kay strong gihapon ang colonial mentality.

for me, the fact that the club is offering yaya meals means that they are encouraging guests to bring along their yayas. opposite of discrimination nuon. wa lang siguro ma tarong og train ang waiter, but not discrimination in my opinion.

Exactly. The way that waiter berate that order was unprofessional and discriminatory bisan unsaon ug bali2x. He could have said like, " We offer budget meals maam, but we have a better set of menu if you'd like to taste it" Instead of saying, "sorry, you cannot order that meal, because it's for Yayas"

We can't simply tag a meal based on the person's social status. And we simply cannot displace these folks just because they're earning wages way below our salary level.

About this meal issue, never man gyud na mahitabo nga ma discriminate ang amo, although ang statement sa waiter directed sa amo, but there's always the irreversible truth on that conversation, nga ang meal is somewhat a degraded category. I think common sense nana sa tanan. It's always the inferior person involved, sila gyud ang na discriminate.

If person A is talking to person B, and says: "you cannot mingle with Person C because of this and that"
Do you think it's person B who's being discriminated? No.
