Sometimes we tend to give our personal BIASES when we experience something that is not in favor of us. Indeed a typical FILIPINO TRAIT na mag minaru in a way aron MAKATIPID but everything indeed has a price. I have been to hotels and resorts na 5 stars rated and naa man gani gihapon ta masulti na NEGATIVE because it did not meet our personal objectives. Unsa na lang kaha ang places sama ani sa Tabuelan ?

Next time guys, consider also the factors na say if you paid for like 1000 pesos a night sa room , you can always go look for somewhere na better for that same amount if wala mo naka uyon but then again , good luck with that.

right... however, if business genuinely aims for quality customer experience it's never wrong to take those RATIONAL comments into account for the betterment sa place. What's 25 pesos entrance fee for a great place such as this one? ndot gyud ang beach, but undeniably, there are so many things that need improvement. The price of the food I find it unreasonable gyud... hope the management will consider looking at these issues.

The problem with personal issues equates character assassination dayon basta wala mo meet sa expectations. That is undeniably true anywhere ka sa Pilipinas regardless if its aperson , place or thing . Gusto man gud nato smooth sailing pirme.

For obvious reasons , when an entrance fee of 25 pesos is seen as something na barato , di gyud na siya parallel sa mga resorts na exclusive or mahal. Expect pod a 25 pesos na quality na place. Quality comes with a price. The only reason I responded here because daghan ma mislead even if ang thread is something more than a year or two old na.

Take for example .... its not worth the trip. Obviously to start Tabuelan is far if city based ka. I believed the management which one poster I think has responded looked at " rational " comments already . Food is an important factor , I've never been there and have not tasted nor seen the food, management has to focus on that also. Mao man ang common denominator sa reklamo.

Apologies but how do you say this is a filipino Trait?

I see your point on this though - "The problem with personal issues equates character assassination dayon basta wala mo meet sa expectations." Thanks for clarifying this up. Though, on my point of view, the conclusion of not worth the trip was not meant for character assassination, it's more on a personal review (that's why I was still determined and end up checking the place myself last weekend given that I've already read this thread over a year ago), TS is maybe pissed-of regarding their experience which leads him in creating this thread hihihi I'm not just sure how this become a common Filipino trait when we give personal comments on something we've experience (not other nationalities are doing this?)

Yes, thread has been around a year old or so, yet new guests are experiencing very similar issues.

Overall, I'm only responsible for what i post/say not for what readers' understand... likewise when reading other people's post it's their choice to follow/believe what's written here.. afterall this is a forum.

The trait of trying to outsmart the system . Laktod na storya " MINARU " aron makabarato or makatipid. In the case of trying to criticized how small the room is. Case in point , room is good comfortably for a specific number of people say 2 -3 then guest tries to squeezed in 5-6 people. That is fine pero di mo reklamo ug huot or gamay otherwise get two rooms instead. Pwerting kadgahan sa analogy na pwede nako mahatag ani to justify the trait.

The only thing I see na bati so far based from reviews sa posters kay the charges of eating utensils but looks like it has been fixed .

Most likely . I'm also a traveler in my prime both local and foreign destinations where I see a lot of Filipino guest trying to squeeze out the very last centavo of worth in accomodations and services. I am not saying its a good or bad thing because who am I to judge but we have to take note , even backpacking transients are prepared for this because its like eating in the restaurant. You see a lot of favorite food in the menu but you still ask for the establishments best seller. Case in point again, when you travel you do your research.

Also , I am wondering why its you who reacted when in fact I am referring to the TS since it him/her who made the statement of the destination not worth the trip thus the title. I dont see your rants but just on the cleanliness side of the place which is a factor to consider also. Who would want a dirty place right ?

True but the guest refers to the food that is why I said its the common denominator.

Exactly why I am wondering why you are so critical in my statements when in fact , I only aired out something that refers to rants of a couple or a few referring to a 25 peso entrance fee resort unya expected na basin kani siya murag Alegre Beach Resort or Badian Beach Resort which is totally wrong. That is my speculation though and I could be wrong.

    Hello!

    If you'd please allow me..

First, would like to sincerely apologize for the disappointments w/ the service however, would also like to thank you so much for taking time to comment on this thread specially for a moderator who I know is busy monitoring threads.

These comments & suggestions has greatly helped me in relaying the messages to mgt.

DWBR Mgt knows all the concern since I inform them as soon as I read this thread, actually not just this thread, there are 2 or more threads w/ regard to the resort.

They're actually working very hard on improving common issues that are received from customers.

As of moment here are common issues that I have read from this thread and me being able to witness & experience the said same issues and have asked mgt properly from time to time to address it.

    - Amenities:

** CATV/room: In the province, cable providers are a scarce and do have some severe issues w/ their services thus the reason that mgt have cut off the service. As of moment the rooms dont have TV's, a suggestion was given wherein there'd be a dedicated DVD wherein it's connected to all TV's in the room to have movies and switch it to local news every 5pm. However, the suggestion is still being discussed.

** Water availability: The resort has been having water availability issues during peak months, They've already added 1 tank before however since they've gained more customers, it seems like another additional tank is needed.

** Internet Access: Being in the province, as much as mgt wants to seek out other ISP's. They can only choose 1 ISP as of moment.

** Playground for kids are already being discussed.

** Swimming pools are still not part of the plan as of moment.

** Food: THIS WILL FOR SURELY BE DISCUSSED.

    - Other concerns:

Corkage for drinks? I think this is not a question already since all establishment have corkage for food & drinks. Also, the resort sells very affordable drinks.

Free H20: Yes, there is free h20 wherein it's called service water however if mineral h20, then it should be bottled or on the other hand, the resort do it affordably @ Php 1.00 or 2.00/ glass.

As for the public CR being dirty, I think it usually happens during peak days.

These issues being encountered will again be relayed to mgt and hopefully will be addressed ASAP since the Tabuelan Triathlon is fast approaching.

Again, all comments & suggestions being brought up are sincerely appreciated.

    Thank you!

The only good thing about this thread ? We have an acting "liaison" officer who has all ears for the issues brought up.

Thank you for that effort and action.

as i read about the comments, feedback and suggestions all I can say is that this case is subjective. As what Pierced mentioned with the common issues (these are really common) and can be remedied upon or resolved. Well just give them (resort mgt) a "benefit of a doubt" and fair on dealing with our reviews. Constructive criticism as what we might say.. hehehe
