It's one of my favorite website. I find it very educational and especially I'm using Adobe Lightroom for enhancing my photos. And I found out later on that they are also giving some other tips on how to take some good shots.

I also subscribed to Digital Photography School - Digital Photography Tips and Tutorials

Hope this helps you a lot...just search within the website and I know for sure malingaw pud ka.

About sa megapixels I fully understand na nga dili jud siya necessary dako and mu agad more on sa lens.
Bro, about megapixel size..it's true dili sya e mind but dili pod to the point nga dili importante ang size sa mp. Ang size sa mp mo matter na if mag crop ka sa photo. Also sensor size is important, this is bec. for better dynamic range and low light capability, meaning mas sensitive ug light so if dim ang environment u can still capture a good exposure sa subject. And lastly, you are right mo matter pod sa lens. It has to be good quality nga lens, better optic design and etc. But still to have a good and sharp photo the mp size, sensor size and lens quality will matter. These 3 are also very important.

best camera is the one you have... 6.3MP is more than enough for most photography work (and facebook ug webpage).. the only time kahilanlang ka ug high megapixel kay kung mag print naka ug billboard.. I think you can still get decent print on 11x14 on a 6.3MP camera. best thing to do after maka kuha ka ug camera is to read the manual and learn sa imu camera.. it would take about 30mins or less.. then you learn basic then you improve sa imu skills

    First...Go out SHOOT...don't think...just enjoy!

I met a lots of today's really good and accomplished photographers whom at first they don't intend to be really good photographers (or even sound like one)

And this was before the camera or DSLR hype hit Cebu or more than a decade ago

Don't pressure yourself of getting the best shot...just let fun guide you. It will just come naturally!
