Hi there Photography Enthusiast! I just got a Canon 300D from a friend. Bought it from him. Is it good to start on? By the way I dont have any plans in photography. I just wanna take pictures that I dream on taking. Usually I am onto views (like going to the mountains such as TOPS then take some pictures, taoist Temple and take some pics) and post it in fb lang mga sirs. No plans on like developing it or something. Hehe in short kana lng para upload2x sa fb gud. 😄

I know na balik2x nasad ni na pangutana nuh but unsay mga specs sa camera ang dapat e take note? And does really mean na if mas dako ang mega pixel kay mas maayu? My 300D is only 6.3 mega pixels. I know gamay rana sa inyu. Hehehe


And if naa koy time mag study nya ko sa basics sa photography. Busy paman ko sa school projects gud. I am an IT by the way and I also do simple Photoshop to be used for my websites.

I am honestly new to dslr and photography. Pasyensya na ninyu ha. 😄

Unsay naa nimo nga camera karon is already good for making photographs bisan camera pa na nga naa sa cellphone. Ang importante nga makakita ka sa imong gusto nga mahimong photograph. It's not about the specs of the camera, it's more on what you will include in the frame for your camera to record as a photograph at the right moment.

dili kau ko sweto ug canon DSLRs kay wala ko nag gamit ana but here is my tip for landscape photography. Use wide angle lenses or start at 35mm or if kit lens na imo gamit karon pwede ra gihapon na at 18mm or 24mm. The basic of photography is understand lang nimo ang relationship sa kani tulo kabuok ISO, Aperture and shutter speed. Since you are IT, you will love the technical side of photography just like me. hehehehe. Lastly, for landscape you will usually use tripod and smaller aperture values like f11.

Mau jud bro vernie. Mau nay sulti sa akong friend na photographer. I mean murag mau jud na ang permi e sulti sa mga photographers. hehe. Well I know man na naa jud na sa nag gamit sa camera but concerned lng pud ko sa specs sir kay gusto sad ko na ma update sad sa mga accesories and stuffs ba. hehe. Kay kani akoa more on Computer Rigs man gud. Hopefully maabut sad ang time na I will fully understand Photography and same time ma sweto sad sa mga specs. Thanks Vernie!

Thanks Bro Macrobokeh! Good to hear na IT sad ka. hehe. Yes indeed I heard about those 3 (Aperture, ISO and Shutter speed.) And also tinuod na nga if mu buy kag camera kay ayaw ug mind sa megapixels but do mind on the sensor? About sa megapixels I fully understand na nga dili jud siya necessary dako and mu agad more on sa lens.

Sa akong understanding kay gamit ang dako megapixels kung mag printing outputs daw like huge posters and stuffs. Ang sensor daw muy mas e mind kaysa megapixels. dont know why. hehe

Well exposed photograph with RAW file, you get excellent huge prints from it. The major limiting factor here is the skill of the one who handle the photograph for printing.
