I think that's the current pompadour nowadays nga cut jud ang kilid like the Bruno Mars hairstyle evolved from the Elvis Presley classic pompadour style. A current individual who's rocking a somewhat-classic pompadour is Conan O'Brien, IMO.

i have yet to see a guy who has an undercut, but naka top knot cya. i only saw it twice pa who wore this look, and i admit nasuya ko. lol. looks neat.

Fashion is like art, people have different interpretations and thoughts to a specific outfit, just like on painting, play/musical, or film. As long as fashionistas are confident to what they're wearing, di man pud tingale sila ma hurt kung libakon sila. After all fashion is another form of expression.
