DEVELOPING STORY (Updated 9:14 p.m.) Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla has been brought to a hospital in Muntinlupa for a gunshot wound that the family spokesman says was accidental.
According to a GMA "News TV Live" report, lawyer Raymond Fortun has said Revilla accidentally pulled the trigger of a gun that he was cleaning at their home in Ayala Alabang on Saturday morning.
In a statement sent to media, Fortun said the gun was a .40-caliber Glock pistol.
The vice governor is now stable although still groggy from medicine that he was given at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City, where he was brought for treatment.
