You don't need to lecture us about Section 25/ Article 18, we know it very well. But if you read it thoroughly, you'll notice that your statement is invalid. It reads (take note on the word EXCEPT):

“foreign military bases, troops, or facilities shall not be allowed in the Philippines EXCEPT under a treaty duly concurred in by the Senate in a national referendum held for that purpose, and recognized as a treaty by the other contracting State.”

In November 2002, the Arroyo administraton signed the Military Logistics and Support Agreement (MLSA) allowing the US to use the Philippines as a supply base in the region. This includes non-combat assistance of Filipino forces against terrorist organizations. Washington and Manila negotiated on special rules of engagement. US military personnel will take directions from Filipino commanders and will use force only to defend thmselves.

The US role reportedly involved intelligence and communications support with SAF and AFP, including deployment of Navy Seal & Special Forces personnel which restricts to non-combatant roles.

I Dont Believe sa mga Statement sa mga General na only intelligence ang ilaha involvement ... they are behind the Oplan Exodus .. and its not part of a treaty na foreign troops maoy mag manage sa operation ... so therefore they are engaging in combat using our own personnel ... its a clear violation of our constitution ...

The Philippine Constitution prohibits foreign troops from being permanently based in the country and from engaging in combat operations.

We might as well Change the Constitution that Uncle Sam is Allowed to Stay in the Country and Can Engage in Combat Operation.

Salig kos atong AFP kay na kaau na mga MILF pulboson ... INUTIL lang jud ning naa sa Malacanyang ....

This is why pnoy don't want to admit that they are coordinating with the US in any way. Hadlok si panot aning mga welga2x, maguba ang iyang tuwad na daan.. straight rba daw + mo ubos samot ang iyang rating sa survey.

I don't see covert op as a suicide mission. It's more of a tactical plan/operation in sneaking in and out of the subject without concealing the identity of the operators. Kung baga "LEAVE NO TRACE".

Sa sunod nga adunay High Value Target nga lakagon sa atong kagamhanan, don't seek help from those technologically able. Let's get someone from siquijor to do aerial surveillance... That would make more sense then...

I got nothing to hide. I'd rather have the US government checking my bank records or phone conversations on a daily basis than my kid riding a bus with a bomb attached by these radical nutheads.
