Default Di kaya mo work sa layo kay mingawon dayon...

I've come to a realization na "balay-balayon" jud ko (dont know the term in cebuano). Tried dipping my foot on unchartered soil (manila ba hehe!), pero gihasolan jud ko. Anticipate nako kada lihok gasto, traffic, rush hour, stranded sa flood, ug HILABI MINGAWON SA HOUSE. We have a farming business ug kani jud najud siguro ako life not like wearing corporate attires in business districts of Makati. Ila man gud ko kataw-an uy.. I just turned down a job by the way because theres no place like home, and seeing your parents and your dog when you get home.

Taga CdeO ko boss. It took me 2 years para maanad sa ingani nga lifestyle.

Mejo similar ta kay naa pud ko'y farm dadto and I was raised by a family nga hilig ug farming.

Im more of a nature tripper and duol ragyud among balay sa boondocs and rivers.

I love my family plus Im a parents' girl. And palangga ko sakong mga elder sisters... palangga pud nako ilang mga anak to the point na ako nay nagpadaku nila.

Napugos rakog palayo sakong family kay nagsakit akong amahan, and my college funds (akong balon nga tinigum and gikan ang uban sa halin saakong mga tanum nga kapayas, mangga, butong, pandan ug manok, ug halin pud sakong binaligya nga college projects--kay daghan pud istudyante nga labad ug tapulan magbuhat ug project so akoy magbuhat! lol) were not enough to help him.

Naa ko'y option magpa manila kay naa man mi relatives dadto, pero nakahuna huna ko nga layu kaayo so might as well come with my friends sa Cebu kay paripariha ra sa manila pero LESS ang stress.

TUA RA, first whole year ko sigeg hilak hilak sa kamingaw. Mahurot akong load cgeg panawag sako pamilya and gitudloan nakog FB akong parents (technophobic sila) para mas dali amung communication and makita nila unsay kahimtang nako.

So nipadayun ko dri, until I met my BF nya gi "adopt" napud ko saiyang family.

I was welcomed to a home with a foster mom to call (iyang inahan) and two dogs....

So.... okay nako dri. Although usahay makaingun ko nga gusto ko muoli, but it's natural manpud na mangita ko sakong family kay naay things nga saamung probinsya ragyud makita.... and my BF understood kay even he himself nakaingun nga gusto sya magpuyo mi sa amo--ako ray nidecline kay gamyan ko sa sweldo dadto labaw na if maminyu mi ug magka pamilya napud mi.

And everytime I get home, murag kulang na lang magpabanda akong mama and sisters complete with banderitas. hahaha!

    No place like home gyud!

sawayunon, but not someone who deserves to be laughed at. pranka nga pagka sulti, you're a wuss. sure, mkita man nga ning try ka ug take sa risk, pero mu balik japon ka sa imong shell (which is imong family, balay, imong pet etc.). comfort zone nimo.

get out of the closet, ts. man up! take it as a challenge
you gave up an opportunity in exchange sa imong comfort? imagine those jobless who'd want to take that spot. ka swerte nlng nimo ah, and you flicked it away.
try to do a reality check, if imong choices ron would be able to sustain your needs in the long run.

question, wala ka kaagi ug kalisud no? i may be wrong. just guessing. but you seem like the type to me.

you can file a leave. haha

    It depends sa situation bro.

When I was 24, I tried working in Davao City for over a year. Ok raman ko didto, where in fact nalingaw ko sa ako pagka batan-on. The reason nipauli ko ug Cebu kay dili tungod gemingaw ko sa amoa or akong parents.

Hinay ang opportunity didto, then ang akong mga ka batch almost mao2x rami ug sweldo or mas dako pa gani sila. Then daghan opportunity sa Cebu City (pero not as many compared in Metro Manila). Mao to ni resign ko then worked in Cebu.

Ingon ani ra gud ni bro... (or mga sis dinha)... Compared if Cebu City raka nag work, 20k imong sweldo pero barato2x ang real estate gamay... then if mo decide ka mo larga abroad, at least imong home base kay Cebu City. You can see your families and friends kada pauli nimo.
