The only giveaway is the slightly noisier sound.

the only thing i hate about Hyundai vehicles are the stock tires their vehicles come in. Really crappy and not that durable. Also the plastic release levers for the trunk so easily breaks. Parts are quite expensive compared to Toyota parts too.

Cebu-Oslob-Cebu on my Accent CRDi is only 500 pesos with plenty to spare. Average speed is around 40-80 and out easily at 120 at certain points in Oslob and Argao. Although I do accelerate slowly and steadily build up speed.

I also love the unique reverse system of the Hyundai.

By looks though, it certainly would be the Vios.
WATTA!!??!!!! grabeha gud anang 500petot Cebu-Oslob-Cebu nga biyahi gamit Accent CRDI. super tipid! hehehehe.
OT: naa ko kia sportage 2009 CRDI model, tipid pod kau nya ang after market parts barato kau naa sa Leon Kilat mapalit puro pa gyud genuine and original parts. For example

    All original parts

    fuel filter cartridge - 1100petot
    air element filter - 650petot
    oil filter - 450petot
climate control aircon filter - 600petot

barato ra man kau, then speed pod naka abot ko 160kph sa SRP sa kia sportage.

OnT: TS, I'll go for hyundai bec. of looks and features.

    peace!

GO for VIOS bro.. Hyundai cars won't last long.. Toyota Doesn't need to prove anything.. Magdaug rana sa time.. I mean time will tell jud.. Wala may question sa ka efficient sa CRDi engines because they built for power and efficiency BUT the question is mo last ba ni nga mga engines? how about spare parts? naa raba diri sa pinas or orderon pas korea?

Naa koy amigo who owned Hyundai Accent 1.5L CRDI engine after a year niya ginamit nagka problema iya sakyanan (engine problem "TURBO). So iya gipa CASA hyundai mandaue. The problem is walay spare parts and kinahanglan pa mo order sa korea.

Luoy tawon kaayo siya balik sakay ug JEEP for 2 months ayha pa nakuha iyang unit...

Mao man na problema sad sa Toyota D4D engine daghan bitaw ko kaila nagreklamo ana thats why we disposed of our previous generation HiLux kay other my kids can't stand sa ride of the pickup, its engine is prone to long-term problems.

I also had the 2008 Vios and its not as reliable as they say it is. Its engine is very noisy in less than 2 years and body is very flimsy. Maybe because it is not made in Japan anymore but in Thailand.

go for japanese cars. Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and etc. basta japanese manufacturer lang. maaug trabaho ang mga hapon proven and tested it will last long.

Go for vios. ours is more than a year going for 2 years now and i can say that it's good as new. Very well maintained of course.

we also have 2004 vios and until now it's still up and running.

If you will buy this CASH, basin mo lean pako TOWARDS HYUNDAI... pero Financing gani bro, go for VIOS. why!?

ang question is, if ever naa mn gani madaot, the expenses for repairs is gamay ra sa Japs na sakyanan. kung mag KOREAN ka, the only store na naay parts ana s ang dealer rajd. and we all know that CASA/Dealers have exaggerated prices.

ang nka pait sa ACCENT, its new in the market ky nag ALL NEW sila (new meaning nag all new) so ang parts sa 1st, 2nd, 3rd or wat generations nana, wala nana gamit sa mga NEW ACCENTS.

ang nag comment na tipid ilang CRDI Accents, ni tipid lang na ky barato ang palit sa Diesel. so imong P500 pwerting daghana na ana sa tanke. P40 - P45 per Liter? ang P500 is more than 10L na.. ang Gas, P55 per Liter? so dako jd difference..

Isa pd, tubili og P500 imong Vios, soroy sa south, trust me maka ulit rapd ka.. proven and tested nana...

sakto pd to ang nag post diri na kng imo questionon tanan mga taxi drivers, they would go for VIOS. suma ba, NISSAN, HYUNDAI, KIA, and other brands na mo sugot itaxi ang unit, mas ni palit sila sa TOYOTA instead of them.

    just my 2 cents...
