It’s start with a dreams that turns into strong desire and visions for this car enthusiasts to make it a reality. The people behind the Philippine-made concept Supercar, Kevin Factor, a 21-year-old engineering student, and Brendan Aurelio, who owns Pacita Fibertech.

The handcrafted Supercars by Factor Aurelio Automobile are small and light but with high-output engine with low cost maintenance, as stated in Aurelio Facebook account.

Factor Aurelio Automobile designed and built a “Supercar”, with 2-door sports coupe powered by a Honda B16A DOHC VTEC 16-valve engine.

he cost of these Supercars is not pricey compare to world famous Supercars, to have one of this car just shell out more or less $37,000 or 1.6 million in Philippine peso.






It`s a combination of audi R8, ferrari, lamborghini body design with a Honda VTEC engine

This is a good start, but unfortunately this is a kit car. Claiming to be a super car with wrong reasons. Primarily by choosing the engine, they explained that they sorted to go for the Honda b16 and or Mitsubishi 4g63T because of aftermarket parts availability. I mean come on, if you want a super car it should have been super right after rolling out of the factory. Not depending on aftermarket parts which needs another independent company for proper tuning. Super Car involves several types of state-of-the-art technology like stability control, ceramic brakes, electronically adjusted suspension etc. and currently the trend of supercars today is going hybrid, not to save fuel but to go even faster.

Personally, this is a poor remake of a Ferrari 458. If you want to stand out on the super car community, one needs to be unique. They should have gone for an under dog design (yes im talking about the boxiness of a GTR) and not being a poser.

If they named it sports car then I could reconsider.

super cars also are built and tested by super fine engineers with tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in automobiles. they are not ordinary enthusiasts. anyway it's said to be a prototype kit car so ok ra tingali ni hehe

I am pretty sure what @khouj ment was these engines are not necessarily made by Honda itself (check outsource).. although I am pretty sure it is designed by Honda..

just like noble got its engine from Volvo.. lexus acquired the help of Yamaha. pagani using AMG.. and all other business X-deals..

you don't need to make your own engine to make a supercar.. although I agree.. Aurelio is not "yet" a supercar. but its inspiring that now we have our own car make and model na dili stainess ug boxy.. we all have to start somewhere.
