    Why AMD Should Sell

    While AMD is struggling to survive in the PC chip market, the whole PC chip industry is facing an increased threat from the mobile chip makers such as Qualcomm. AMD can't even address this mobile threat right now due to a lack of sufficient income. AMD scored a major win with the Playstation 4 and Xbox One contracts, but even with those, the company is still rapidly losing revenue and profits.

    AMD ATI GPU tech+ SAMSUNG RAM = great graphics

    hopefully it will happen for a healthy competition

    and an ALL AMD CPU

    Toms has very good grounds with this writeup. I myself havent noticed how much samsung has taken over a big cut in the market and how much hardwares and gadgets i have bought in the past few years.

    its a nice move if ever, Samsung buy-out AMD... gwaps kayo ni na merger of "IP" (intellectual property) gyud kun mahitabo kun paliton sa Samsung ang AMD...

    bro,

    its hard to "beat" the Big Blue (Intel) in this industry... they have the best IP that the world can offer... i don't know when will the tables will be turned about this aspect here in the industry where i am now... charing... hehehe...

    gahi pas' tanan gani ning Design Team sa Big Blue...

    but they are not unbeatable... ma beat ra gyud ni puhon... we just don't know when...

    Samsung has a very innovative R&D team. They also own many IPs and they hold a strong position in the memory fab business. Hapit na baya mogawas ilang 20nm memory. This along with great R&D will hugely benefit AMD.

    ^ korek gyud na... Samsung's IP on the memory technology is great too... kun mag merge ni sila's AMD, fresh IP competition ang resulta in terms of CPU design IP... fact man gyud ni ang CPU IP sa Intel na ahead sila's competion... its time to inject new players pud even a merger one...

    just to disclose, samtang nag reply ko ani, nag sige ko'g check sa amoang "eng'g wafer"... nag imagine ko na, kun akoa pang gi dawat ang offer sa AMD, tua na unta ko ron... ug kun mang lay-off sila after the merger... for sure, usa ko sa mag una kay "LIFO" man... maayo ra pud diay na wla nko gi dawat... hehehehe...

    I remember mao nay reason nako nga Samsung laptop akong gi palit kay 70% to 80% in-house ang parts...
