MY Passport 0748, di ma detect sa akong pc but ma detect sa laptop sa akong papa

Additional info:

- ako na gi uninstall ang tanang USB drivers then gi restart akong pc para ma detect balik ang drivers
- edited registry with the upper and lower filters
- usbstor.inf and usbstor.pnf gi update/repalce na nako,
- BIOS updated na sad
- used the USB directly sa mother board.
- also tired this 6.1.7601 USB Driver Update Fix
- not licensed akong Windows 7, member ko sa One Piece lol

Ma detect siya before but after nako gamiton sa flat screen tv di na, di nasad soya ma detect sa flat screen tv. pero ma detect sa laptop sa akong papa with out any problems.

Need help and sorry kung sayup ni na post kay libog ko kung hardware or software side ni siya.

I'm thinking to re install sa OS but last option na nako.

1. Did you try using another USB port?
2. Did you try going to the BIOS to see and check if it's detected outside the OS?
3. Did you try disabling your Antivirus program, Firewall?
4. Did you try going to device manager if your USB Device is detected?
5. Did you try formatting the HDD to your Laptop before you plugin to your Desktop?

What I can think here is just something with a software issue. If ma detect ang USB through BIOS with your HDD, that means that the problem is just within the OS.

1st question yes, like what I've mentioned, I tried even using the back or directly from the board.
2nd, dili siya ma detect outside the OS, tired booting or F11 if ma detect ba siya sa BIOS.
3rd, Ma detect siya sa Device manager as Mass Storage Device pero di ma install ang driver.
4th, Di ko nahan i format ang Exernal kay daghan important na files, but willing ko i sacrifice basta ma ayo lang.

backup and reformat the external

back-up external TS sa notebook sa imong papa..
unya e-format.. try if madetect na siya sa imong PC..

thanks sa mga suggestion, ang problem lang di ka hold sa back up ang laptop sa akong papa kay 500gb ra ang capacity sa iyang HD. Mu hulam lang sa ko akong migo ug laing external.

Update lang, ako na gi reformat ang External HDD, pero mao gihapon di gihapon siya ma detect. Nag reformat nasad ko ug PC same thing. Any other suggestion guys?

Try daw, disk management then change ang letter.
madetect siya sa disk management?
