@huryhoy yes, naa definitely jud difference ang branded na heads compared sa mga cheap lang na stock especially if sakto jud pagka tune. Before you go and change heads though, try to get someone nga kabalo jud mo tune ug drums. IF you have the time and a good ear, buy some mufflers and drum gum and with youtube help, tune it yourself. If dili japun ka satisfied then that is the time that you would like to invest in branded heads like Remo, Evans and Aquarians. You have so many to choose from in those three brands alone and it all boils down to personal tone preference on what heads you pick.

Actually sir when the drum kit arrived, it is way out of tune jud. Mga 2hours jud kog tuno kay gamiton na inig ka gabie. nag butang kog temporary nga drumgum (tissue unya gi pa pitlan lang ug tape). Mufflers sa bass drum unlan akong gi gamit. (kinahanglan pa ba ug mufflers ang toms?)

Kung kanang normal lang jud nga banda2 unya dli serious like us dri sa resort nga mga trabahante ra, okay ra pud nuon ang tingog. daugon nalang sad lagi sa mixer.

Peru if kini lang sa nga heads akong gamiton sir, possible ba kaha nga ma usab pa bisan gmay lang ang tingog?

Ok ky nag mic diay ka. Ma adjust pa jud na nimu ang sound thru the mixer. play around with the position of your DIY drumgum ky naa na siya effect. Unsay brand sa imu drums? Ang usual problem sa drums ako na encounter ky overtones pero ma tweak ra jud siya niya. There was an old China made kit that my cousin owned which I played on a lot and bati jud sa tanan bati ang tingog. What I did was sprayed the inside shell of the toms with a spray kana rubberized na pang rustproofing bitaw sa sakyanan. It worked magic. It totally killed the overtones in fact amo pa gi kiskisan ug balik ang ubang portions para naay tones ma bilin, hehehe.

As for your question about the mufflers on the toms, I use them personally on all the toms ky dili ko ganahan na daghan ug hagting na tones. Personal preference na nuon pud na siya on how much overtones you want or don't want.

Here are a few things that I use and play around when tuning my kit.

Sa mga heads: 1. regular mufflers 2. drum gums 3. car window tint (it actually works nice basta smooth pagka install sa backside sa batter head. Either of the three or combination of the three mentioned works well for me.

Sa shell: Rubberized rustproofing spray and foam or pillows.

Para consistent ug tingog ug dili mo move ang foam kay ako butangan ug velcro tape para dili mo move. Ang pillow man gud usahay mo move ug totally ma flat jud ang tone ug sobra na ka muffled basta dako kaayo na portion sa unlan ang mo dapat sa heads.

Anyway, Steely Drums ang brand sa set sir. around 10.3k withouth the ride cymbal.
