bros, im eyeing on pearl export EXX. any other suggestion sa laing brands at this price range? and pls comment on this EXX series. I also saw this Pearl Target Series at P28,000 brandnew, looks tempting kay barato ra... unsa pod inyong comment ani bros? beginner pa jud ko ay. don't know what set to have. P30-40k budget for a set bros.

^ bros, ako man gud concern is that maybe naay mas maayu sa EXX at this 40k price kay poplar man gud iyang wood. i have read sa ubang forums nga maka kuha daw ta ug maple etc at the same price sa Sonor ba to, yamaha etc.

Newbie pa ko aning drums. Nag drums2 naku sauna sa high school peru not totally in a band jud.

Karun, akong gi trabahuan nga resort ni palit ug basic drum set. Generic lang ang brand kay steel drums. Para naku okay nalang ang tono niya peru layo ra jud kaayo sa mid to high class nga drum set.

Question lang. Is there a way nga mo arang2 ang tingog sa drum set kung ilisan ug heads?

@huryhoy yes, naa definitely jud difference ang branded na heads compared sa mga cheap lang na stock especially if sakto jud pagka tune. Before you go and change heads though, try to get someone nga kabalo jud mo tune ug drums. IF you have the time and a good ear, buy some mufflers and drum gum and with youtube help, tune it yourself. If dili japun ka satisfied then that is the time that you would like to invest in branded heads like Remo, Evans and Aquarians. You have so many to choose from in those three brands alone and it all boils down to personal tone preference on what heads you pick.
