    Public lynching would be nice.

but realistically, you get your own reality show and probably gifted a public office.

99% of all public officials probably raped someone or something, sexually or not sexually... lol

The law is clear on what is rape. When you elected your political leaders, that means you are electing who you want to be your representative in the congress. Whatever law the congressmen enacts would the law the people wanted. Their power to legislate emanates from the people in the first place. So ngano mananghid pa man ang gobyerno sa atong tanan? Is it not also absurd nga "mananghid," which I assume mostorya sa sa tanan Pilipino, unsay i consider nga rape?

There's no sense for a rapist to be mixed in the community again in any way you put it. They're a threat to anyone. They're a virus to an already chaotic society. If you know a rapist and he's sitting beside a school girl in a jeepney, you can't help it but get scared for the girl. Of course, you can't know a convicted rapist in the crowd, and that's the problem. We should be protected of threats that are just lurking around looking for an opportunity.

This is not about revenge or a Tom Cruise movie Minority Report, it's about getting rid of rotten apples.

If a rapist has been convicted before, like theft, or robbery, or holdup, he could be raping someone simply because he knows how the system works in jail, and he doesn't mind going back. Like I said, they're rotten, a life they chose.

It's sad for the convict that he can't get a job after doing time in jail, but that's the thing, to prevent him from going back to his old ways because of poverty, lock him up good together with the likes of him. We don't mind them making videos of them dancing in Jail or making Christmas lanterns (though I would never buy those). Just keep them away.

30 years in jail is never enough. If the rapist is in his 20's, he's out by 50. How would that feel for the victim when her rapist is out and could find her with her children in their home? And if the rapist is only sentenced to 20 years, he's out by 40. He could rape anyone again at 40. Our current system doesn't change the past, it just ruins the future more. And if you are a lawyer or a politician, please do something about it.
