Filipinos ought to change their ways. Corruption is not only found within the government's halls.

Go to work, and you will find employees asking for reimbursements amounting to more than what they actually spent.

Go out in the streets, and you will see taxi drivers charging you more money if they know you're gullible enough... much worse if you're a tourist.

Go to school, and you will see the student's council subtracting a sum of money from the students, yet they don't tell anyone how and where they spend it.

Go to a restaurant, and they will charge you with a huge amount of money despite the stale taste of their ostentatious food (Cafe Laguna for example, looks nice, tastes like sh*t.)

Corruption is embedded in the culture of the Filipino people.

The Spanish people wrote their observations in the 16th century, "The people here are so selfish and greedy, that if they are given money, they are easily won over."

Also, now that we're at it, Emilio Aguinaldo should be branded as the National Hero of the Corrupt Filipino People Who Stand Proud with the Mentality of a Crab.
