Works that spark a nation into change. That would draw us to the works of Ernesto Che Guevarra then... of Mandela, or Ghandi. But Rizal... oh, I just can not bro.
Back to literature, I am of the opinion that Dickens is a lot more readable... immortal as Scrooge is. Crime and Punishment is long and dragging.. but Dostoyevsky is Russian.. they talk a lot.
Sometimes, we open up a page and get absorbed in the print the page contains. We are transported to a world much beyond those pages, a world much bigger than contained within the covers of a book. Such a world transforms the mind of the reader or readers. That is revolution... a lot more than mere entertainment.
Well, on literary aspect and how Rizal portray the love story between Ibarra and Maria, most readers were impressed. But a lot of them were disapointed sa ending.
Basin pud gi-dali2x to ni Rizal ug human. Kay busy panguwag ug mga chicks atong panahona. Igatan man gud ni atong National Hero.
