What do you think would be the verdict of former president Joseph Estrada?

Before we talk about pardoning Erap, let us hear first the verdict on all the charges filed against him. I suppose he is guilty but our long wait will be over, somehow, when the Sandiganbayan promulgates its judgment on Erap's case on September 12. By then we will know if he is found guilty or not.

His camp has made desperate attempts lately to influence the public to condemn the verdict if it is not in favor of the deposed President. There were speculations of a grant of pardon which I think is not right to talk about at the moment. Even if Erap is found guilty on Sept. 12 the judgment is not yet final.

For me, Erap deserves a cell at Munti.

Personally, I vote for a guilty verdict against Erap.
Even without looking into the pieces of evidence presented by the prosecution, it is obvious that he indeed pocketed public funds. The mansions and the money he gave his friends to spend in Vegas is already a big amount that could have been used for projects and programs of the government.
And so I hope the verdict would be in favor of the people.
