I believe in the secular principles of freedom of religion and freedom from religion: i.e., religion for those who want it and no religion for those who don't wish to join one. As long as religion is kept private and not imposed on people, and as long as people who don't share your religion are not vilified or ostracized...that should be the way forward for civilized societies. For me, I wish people treat religion as a fun and entertaining activity, sort of like the horoscope and tarot cards. There should be no dogmas about what to wear, what not to eat, or whether or not you can wear condoms during ***, or whether or not you can caricature your favorite "divine" superhero (e.g. Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Joseph Smith, Sai Baba, etc) in some editorial cartoon or TV show. And there should be no interference by the religious in state affairs nor in science education, like pushing creationism into science classrooms.
