I have the same SSD M500, but just that 240GB version, and yes we have the same experience.. 90% pud ako-a pag try namo ug test sa naka-palit.. anyway, i'd like to think it's a common issue, but never got around to skimming the internet for other's experience on this SSD.

Anyway, other than the HD Sentinel report, okay raman so far.. checked if init ba siya, or naa wierd sound, even did a test read/wright then compared it with another M500 SSD that i had at 100% pareho raman.

boss bert, ako gi test usab ang health sa SSD nako using Hard Disk Sentinel's latest version (unregistered). ni 100% na siya. So, ok ra ni akong SSD? ngano mani noh? dili consistent ang results..

mao gyud nai quirk anang mga M500 series nga ssd...kadto ako na suwayan kai 90% health and 80% Performance using Win7...gi upgrade ang OS to Win8.1 ni 100% Health & Performance na nuon...quirky indeed...pero wala ra gyuy problems na encounter...drive benchmarks ok ra gyud and Bootracer stays 7secs at boot time...

download lang ug Bootracer and observe your system...

try nimo CrystalDiskInfo. Naa sa E7 (or E9?) ang health remaining. Gamit nko is CDI ug Corsair Toolbox, 100% pa after a year of moderate usage.
