Toshiba Satellite 15.4" Widescreen Notebook PC (A135-S2276)

Thin and light: At just six pounds, the Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 notebook makes it easy to take dual-core processing power on the road.

Dual core processing: The 1.6GHz Intel® Pentium® Dual Core T2060 has two processing engines that work in tandem, providing much more power than standard 1.6GHz processors.

This notebook features 512MB of advanced DDR2 system memory—enough to easily handle everyday computing tasks.
Data travels along the frontside bus. The faster data travels, the faster everything works. This notebook has a 533MHz frontside bus.
L2 caches keep data neat, organized, and nearby so processors can retrieve it quickly. This 1MB L2 cache will give the processor a little boost.
Hard drive: This hard drive features an 80GB capacity—plenty of space for the average user. This drive’s data disks spin at 5400rpm. The faster they spin, the faster the data is read and written.

Go wireless: Built-in 802.11gb wireless LAN makes it easy to connect to most networks or wireless peripherals.

DVD SuperMulti drive: Use this drive to burn DVDs and CDs to share your files, music mixes or home movies. You can even burn DVD-RAM discs—specially-formatted discs that let you drag and drop, or write and rewrite your files up to 100,000 times.

Widescreen display: This 15.4” widescreen features 1280 x 800 pixel (WXGA) resolution, providing sharp detail and plenty of room for whatever you want to view.

Microsoft® Windows® Vista™ Home Basic: Vista Home Basic is the operating system for homes with basic computing needs. It’s easy to set up, secure, reliable and compatible with the widest range of software, devices, and services. If you simply want to surf the Internet, correspond with friends or create basic documents, this will be perfect for you.

Graphics and audio: This notebook features integrated graphics and 128MB of shared video memory (which is drawn from the notebook’s system memory). The built-in stereo speakers give your multimedia some extra kick.

    Software bundle:
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic, Works 8.5 and Office 2007 Student and Teacher Edition (60-day trial)
McAfee Internet Security Suite (30-day trial)
    Sun® Java™ 2 Runtime Environment
    Adobe® Acrobat® Reader
    Google™ Desktop and Toolbar
    Ulead® DVD MovieFactory®

not best buy.. its actually for almost $800 but with rebates. its still pretty much a good deal if it would be sold at less than Php50,000. (i guess)
