GOOD DAY MY FELLOW ISTORYANS
I was just wondering would you chose a modified car or just one that's all stock if you buy a secondhand car.
You see I am a car enthusiast and I have had a lot of cars that i have used and upgraded and iv'e always wondered why most people price their modified cars at very high prices compared to the original price in which the car is all stock/original
You see for example:
Honda Civic FD1 07 1.8v modified priced at 620k
Honda Civic FD1 08 1.8v all stock priced at 400k
Both the low end variants which in secondhand price would be valued at around 390k-440k
200k Value gap for both cars that are have the same features, the same engine, same year model but just looks different because of the added upgrades to the other car
Now about the upgrades
the first pic has upgraded its rims , has a body kit designed for that model , a spoiler and many more
While the second picture is just BONE STOCK
Now both cars are used SECONDHAND units.
I know some young people would consider buying the one which has all those UPGRADES and what not while those people who just want a car would prefer the one that is all STOCK
Now here is where the guy who owns the car that is modified is wrong :
UPGRADES DO NOT MAKE THE VALUE OF THE CAR GO UP , IT JUST MAKES IT EASIER TO SELL IF IT WAS PRICED RIGHT
Here is the things that some people don't consider:
Both Cars are the same
Both Cars are secondhand units
Both Cars HAVE THE SAME VALUE
So what would you pick ?
and why ?
Looking forward to see people's answers
