Mariz 18th Birthday
There's nothing more fulfilling than freezing candid shots-- that no directing, no pretense moments. Just like this photo i took during mariz's 18th birthday where the dad tried his best to coo the baby with her best smile, the lola and the sister watching the moment with so much happiness, the mommy with its all out support and smile. this and all other moments makes all the sweat and effort of event shoots all worth it.
Canon EOS 350D, 1/60s, f/2.8, 110mm, ISO1600, Available light. Black & White conversion through PS.
Debut, in the real sense, is the coming out of one's child-- from a girl to a woman. The sad part of this is the letting go, especially from a father who has seen her daughter grow, who wants to freeze that time when the only man in her life is him.. sometimes, growth comes with pain. -- mariz's 18th birthday, with her dad's last dance of her little girl.
