not quite sure what you mean by this, but boy abunda wants to give back to the filipino people. he wants to serve the filipino people and share his blessings.

Opinion taken and understood. My argument lies with the fact that anyone can give back to the society regardless of social status and/or the level of influence you have in the community. Now that the DAP and PDAF are under scrutiny and may be rendered obsolete in the future, government funding of a senator initiated program may be minimal. More than anything, senators are law makers and not primarily wealth distributors or philanthropists. What's happening in the political arena, is as what everyone may know, is people running for office for the wrong reasons.

To simplify, I'm not questioning the heart and intention of Boy, Kris or any other aspirants for politics. We're simply making a query as to the capability of these people in law making. Just an opinion, but maybe it's high time to update the qualifications of a senatorial candidate. It would be wise to have a candidate experience leading at a barangay level, then to a municipality level, and the provincial level. The consolidated experience will help that person understand what the society really needs.

We are creating a culture of plagiarism in our law making bodies. Be vigilant. Know that most of our laws are photocopies or derived from US or foreign legislation. In choosing leaders, maybe it's better to consider a plethora of things like intentions, education, and experience.
