You have a president, the person charged with the highest power in the land and has the best position to change things, claiming that the price hikes do not affect most Filipinos. idk if he's in denial or uninformed that he can say this. And your suggestion is "start within yourself". omw. How is starting within ourselves going to help the president realize that the price hikes actually affects a lot of Filipinos? How is "starting within ourselves" going to sound alarms in Malacanang to make the aforementioned issue a priority? just because people complain doesn't necessarily mean nga we all want to kick him out of office right then and now, we want him to do something about it instead of making a facade like he's shrugging it off like it was a trivial matter that only affects the marginalized. sobraan raman ka ka-defensive gud.

Just because some people want him ousted doesn't mean the main consensus is everyone wants him ousted. The main sentiment with people who complain is that he speaks too removed or is callous from the real situation, and that he needs to assure his constituents that he treating the issue with priority and urgency. He didn't get voted in to be just a guy who smiles sheepishly during his SONAs, while kita mag "start within ourselves". You make it sound like the presidency doesn't hold any power.
