Great thing nga nahibaw-an na ang guba is Power Supply, that's the first one akong na huna-hunaan pod.

Usually if there is no POWER, you can check your Power Supply if it's working or not by jumpering the Green and Black wire of the Power Supply, if Power Supply works okay it could either be the Power Switch, you could just jumper the Power Connector of the Motherboard to power it on.

duda nako sa PSU kay mao generic sa ako setup. liman kag free nga power supply kung palit case. lol
ako pangita kana ra maguwang gamay sa generic. no need for hi end PSU's.

yeah kana jumpering sa PSU wala nako nabuhat kay daotan kog mata....

generic psu is really bundled in casing..what the store did is that, they separate the psu from the casing and sale it in different price...
I just want share some tip in isolating the problem...you can isolate the psu and test the voltage output...yellow wire has 12v, red wire 5v, blue wire -12v...

actually ang mobo KUNG INTEL dali maguba. wala nako salig sa mobo sa intel. never agen. 2 na personal rigs nako on intel naguba. sa office 6 na over a span of 4 years. mga asus boards wala pa gyud nangaguba.

the last time i spent for a silverstone PSU it set me back 9K.

i know silverstone makes great PSU's but im not ready to shell that kind of money for a simple HTPC setup (it was my old rig whose motherboard got busted by Yolanda)
thing is SFX form factor PSU's are not as common as regualt ATX PSU's.
who else sells SFX PSU's?

Wala ka na-igo og kilat recently? Ako HTPC dead ang LAN card it only connects at 10mbps, dead ang 2 ka USB ports, ang isa ka disk pang download dead pod. Ahak gasto nasad.

By the way, grabeha nimo HTPC Q8300 man.
