    Default Destroying Philippines, K12 current system is...

    What do you think is the outcome of policies na gayagaya lang sa ibang bansa? Without thorough research? cguro meron but something is wrong...

    Now, K12 is ok, pero strictly following age requirement is wrong without a system na mag-assess sa capability sa bata.

    Ang age requirement sa US ug Phil is parehas parehas ra,

    Ika nga, kung ang kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan -- paano na ang pag-asa kung hindi exacto ang timing sa pagbigay ng aralin... remember the image above -- critical stage ang young age sa learning....

    For now bali wala pa ni for you, but one day kung magiging parent kana may importance na ni nga thought.

    I can see myself to your kid when I was young too, sir. You are fighting for a better cause. I just hope that DepEd will hear your request. Apparently, the management may hear them, sadly there are some employees in the government sector who acts like the boss, or they are just too close-minded to follow the guidelines of their books.

    I share your sentiment on this one.

    It's another case of insufficient planning and lack of foresight.

    Heck, the computer textbooks are still showing screenshots of Win XP (already unsupported) and Office 2005 (err, we're now using the Ribbon?!). They're still teaching MS Paint for crying out loud.

    Pic related.

    @quote,
    Para sa mga tamad magbasa, nais naming bigyang-diin na ang K to 12 ay nilikha para sa pangangailangan ng mga dayuhan at hindi para sa interes ng Pilipinas; pagpapatibay ito sa napatunayan nang palpak na Labor Export Policy (LEP) ng gobyerno; mababaon sa utang ang Pilipinas dahil sa K to 12. Basahin ang mga artikulo sa itaas para sa detalye.

    Kailangan ng reoryentasyon ng edukasyon at sistemang ekonomiko natin. Kailangan nating gamitin ang sistemang pang-edukasyon para paunlarin ang bayan. Hindi ito natutugunan ng K to 12 dahil ni hindi nga nagkaroon ng malawakang debate at konsultasyon hinggil sa PARA KANINO ANG K TO 12.

    K-12 was designed to improve our education system. It is expected that problems may occur in the first phase; we see a lot of confusions as well as wrong implementations. All we have to do is to help fixing the problem and embrace the changes. Report directly to proper authority so as to assess and provide solutions immediately. I'm no Pnoy fan but this is one of his legacy that I'm thankful of.

    What I learned since the start of my lifetime is : "Never change a running system"

    If this education system makes what America now then IT MUST BE WORKING. Don't invent something na nahimo na sa uban.Just follow and follow. Ug usa sad dili lang ikaw ang naay anak ug ang capacity to learn in each child is different. Based on the pic na imo gi link YES South Koreans are smarter than us. Ang pinoy "smart" sa mga binuang

    Lisod dawaton ug mangaplay ka sa gawas ug ang education system sa atoa pareha sauna. Mao ng ang uban mobalik ug school sa gawas kay dili man standard ning atoa.

    I am not sure ug kining mga current students ron like grade 6 maapil naba sa K12 or need jud from the start nga Kinder.

    So K12 is now the standard so expect changes BUT it takes time to get "real" results.
