well if a person die, lets say ako parente, i assume that he is in a state of a venial sins,(hopefully not in mortal sins).there are 3 kinds of sins, though venial sin does not cut us from christ, but its still a sin, hindering our admittance to heaven.. i say that we assume that he is on state of venial sins because of what we called hope,( its no end until it ends) by this hope; we as in one body will pray for this man for his admittance,( because he cannot pardon his own self anymore, he wasted his chance when he once live). that is why we often hear during the catholic mass a petitioning about saving the souls in purgatory( may all the souls in purgatory be save), and that is why we ask for the righteous or saints in heaven for their intercession., we are not praying to them but we ask them to pray for us,.(Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.)
do you know that one of the process for blessed man for his canonization of becoming a saint, is asking for a miracle by his intercession?
Hahaha, petitioning for his soul? hoping nga dawaton siya sa ginoo?
why is it necessary nga kinahanglan sa misa jd nimo ipa agi, why not on your own?
