i think dili necessarily sa simbahan kung asa ka gibunyagan but sa parish(simbahan) imung gipuy.an na belong..
for example, taga pardo ka..supposedly sa pardo church unta ka magminyo..

pero ganahan mu adto sa sto.rosario for example..so before mu mag pre cana seminar sa Sto.Rosario..tagaan mu ug form nga inyong fill outan..inyong ihatag sa tagsa2x ninyong mga simbahan..
imu sa pardo..sa imung bana pud..ug asa nga parish iyang residence na belong..
2 or 3 weeks before ang wedding date kay ila nang i announce kada sunday man siguro..nga magminyo namu..just in case naay mosupak siguro..LOL

then after na ma announce..pirmahan na sa parish priest or sa coordinator ana nga Parish..
then imung ihatag ngadto sa Sto.Rosario(simbahan nga minyoan)..

my wife and i got married in 2012, Donation raman na ang ihatag sa inyong tagsa-tagsa nga simbahan..
akong gihatag sa ako ato kay 100-150? barato raman..hehehe..
dayun sa akong misis kay murag mao2x pud...

you're right rais, depende ra jud na sa tao..there's really no rule that you can only pray this or that..hahaha..
ako bitaw dili man pud ko tig-ampo ug rosario sa una..kay mura kog katulgon madugay...sorry...
because i am also into the conversation type of prayers..although i pray the Lords prayer, Hail mary and Glory be..pero dili nako balik-balikon..hehehe although kasabut jud ko sa purpose nganu balik-balikon ang ubang prayers esp sa rosary...which is what i explained to you earlier..ug ni brackitz and Xian pud..

however, recently lang jud..when i went to confession..symepre..ang penance kay balik2x man na nga our father, or hail mary...plus the act of contrition..
and of course..sundon nako ug unsay i ingun sa pari..but usually...di kaayo nako ma feel ang prayer..
'cause like i said earlier..like you, i'm more of a DIY in prayers..hehehe..

so while i was at the blessed sacrament praying..as i repeatedly pray the Lord's Prayer...
suddenly, it worked for me..i began to meditate on the prayer...
phrases like forgive me as i forgive others suddenly becomes weighted...
and Let your kingdom come, your will be done...renewed the spirit of obedience in me...
you know...those sort of things... hehehe

guess we really just can't tell how God works huh? hehehe
sometimes He will work through unpreferred ways..perhaps for the purpose of understanding diversity...

Kay daghang ga yawyaw sa amoang baryo kay mao ni (daw) pamaagi atong usa ka pari didto. Kung tinood man gani ni, unsa kahay reason behind ani? Pamaagi ba ni sa usa ka pari (sa inyong tan-aw) ra or sa tibook ni nga RCC?

i'm afraid ang maong pari kay nagbuot-buot to..i don't know what his reasons might be...probably for the cause of pursuading the parents to receive the sacrament of matrimony..

but there is no such teaching in the Roman Catholic Church that would prohibit a child or anyone to be baptized for such reasons..
on the contrary the Catechism of the Catholic Church 1246 states:
“Every person not yet baptized and only such a person is able to be baptized”.

personally, naa koy friend nga wala pa gani sila na minyo sa iyang partner..both of their children were baptized sa Catholic Church..
usa sa guadalupe, ug usa sa St. Joseph sa tabunok.

they are ok that you don't believe in god, what they are against is APOSTASY. they will kill you if you denounce islam if you're a muslim.

no! not only that you denounce islam.. know their Bible and oral traditions,.
