Judging from the responses so far, you can see why people here differ in opinion to what progressive cultures would deem as problems (like noise pollution). It's very clear from the video that the TS is showing a loud street disco in the vicinity of a hospital. To most people in Cebu, it's not a problem...and if anyone complains about it, people would look at you as a villain.

Our penchant for street disco evolved from our hunter-gatherer penchant for tribal dance and music around campfires. Nobody would mind such events if this was in Cebu in the 1950's, when the population figure was in the 10,000's. Now that the population's in the millions, with a density that's necessitating high-rise living, noise pollution is an issue...well, at least, for some of us.

You might as well dance with the music.

After reading this post, I played the video 5 times with the loudest speaker I can get.

    1. There is no LOUD DISCO in the video as per you have described as noise pollution. There was indeed a celebration with lights roaming on and few sounds for people to dance though cannot be seen in this HIGH DEFINITION video. But only if the videographer closes its windows and blinds than where would you find this so called noise pollution inside the hospital. Secondly, we merely not took the thread starter as villain but put out comments why was this posted in politics and current events section thread?

This was taken inside a room in chung hua with closed windows.

Logic will tell you if your sick, you don't want to open your window to get more loud music in?

Well, that's just the way I'd think at least. Maybe you'd rather be sick with beating bass shaking your premises.
