    Default Need to recover the files using MAC computers (pc or laptop).


    Hello guys. Patabang unta ko kung aha ta pwede makapa recover sa files from my external hard drive. Ang akong boss sa california iyang gipadala ang drive diri sa akoa ang problema kay MAC man iyang gigamit didto, dili mabasa sa akong windows ang drive. Ako na gisulayan ang desktop management pero unable to sign a drive letter man. Please please please I need a help.

    to what i know. i think lahi ang format sa drive. Mac Journal nah ang drive format kay mac man kha ang computer sa imo boss so maopen ra nah sya with a mac computer/mac os. dile nah sya windows NTFS, so dile compatible sa pc/windows. i suggest use a mac computer to open it.

    mao lagi... mao na akong problem kung aha ko maka kita ug mac computer. Or naa bay computer service nga naay mac computer nga pwede ko maka view sa akong files. Murag lisod man ipangita uig mac.

    Guys kung naa moy nahibal-an nga software, pwede ninyo ma share sa ako... I badly needed the files para makatarung nako ug work.

    Replies from other forums:

    *If you can add the hard drive to an existing Linux machine like ubuntu, you can access it read only as HFS. You'll need to add the package hfsplus and maybe also hfsprogs and hfsutils.

    *If you just want the files, the fastest way is to add HFS support to your Linux system and then grab them from the disk. Linux reads HFS just fine once the package hfsplus has been added.

    >>use ubuntu and install hfsplus, then mount the external drive....

    the charge is actually PhP800 - PhP1500 per CD of file, depende sa shop

    and

    you have to pay premium for a professionally done premium service.
