The miniature version of the OPPO N1 is real and it will be coming at the end of the month. It will come in a 5-inch package, sport that same conspicuous rotating camera, and will arrive in a frame of gold. At least, according to this latest leak.

The OPPO N1 is an interesting device in more ways than one. But it is also huge, which will probably scare even the most forgiving of phablet users. Luckily, OPPO seems to be listening and will soon be outing a version that will be easier to wield. This OPPO N1 mini is said to come with a 5-inch screen but also with a lower screen resolution, at 1280x720 pixels to be exact. Sounds like a fair compromise, though we hope there will be no other comprises.

This latest photoset shows the colorful selection that will be available for the OPPO N1 mini, including powdery versions of pink. blue and yellow. There is also a white model seen in profile, which seems to bear golden accents. Whether this is the extent of the golden frame referred to by the source is something we'll have to wait for to find out. And, of course, how can we fail to wave hello to that intriguing contraption that is the OPPO N1's rotating camera, removing the need for another high megapixel front camera just to take that perfect selfie.

The OPPO N1 mini is believed to be scheduled for a formal unveiling on May 30. Hopefully OPPO will continue to indulge fans and admirers of its N1 device and put the same dual booting capability of the bigger model that made the OPPO N1 even remotely notable.
