Default Need help: how to compute water evaporation the simplest way

    Mga istoryans,,,,

unsa on pag computer ug water evaporation sa waste oil settling tank

    given:
    tank size: 4 m x 3 m x 3 m
    water inside: 2 cubic meter
oil content in the tank: 2 cubic meter
    heated at 120 deg. celcius

    question:
    1. how much water evaporated in 1 hour

Need your help/.//.//// no idea gyud ko ani

    rate of evaporation (kg/s/m2) = (Pw-Pa)x(0.089 + 0.0782V)/Y
Pw= pressure exerted by water at the temperature of air
Pa = pressure of the vapour in the air at the air temperature and pressure,
V = velocity of the air over the water and
Y = latent heat of vapourisation of water. Pressures should be in kPa

    for latent heat:

4.1858 joules of energy will raise the temperature of 1 g of water by 1oC.

    Thus, 4.1858 * 955 * 80 = 319795.12 joules of energy is required to raise the temperature of 955 g of water by 1oC.

    Unya para walay libog,
    pangitaa na lang dire.
