    Hahahaha. Bitaw, kanang usa nga nagpasweto2x dira, based sa iyang mga posts, sweto jud boss.. LOL.. Mas sweto pa na sa atong lolo.. LOL...

    To date, mga 58 operational cameras na ning amoa (luzon-visayas-mindanao) + 14 dummy ones for deterrence purposes.. hehehehe... To shave off deployment cost, kami na lang gani ga-install, ug gasetup sa among data infra, WAN (thru IP-SEC VPN).

    Ang problema sa mga non-technical (Iapil na nato si margot ani), they would jump into conclusion dayon nga tag 500K ang kada usa.. As stipulated, 15M is the entire project cost. In short, apil na data infrastructure, network connectivity (LAN/WAN), installation, and other misc. expenses incurred sa pag install ani.

    If you are talking about "STANDARDS", it would only comes next after your objective. Based on those objectives, adto na ka magbase sa mga minimum technical requirements sa imong mga equipment and its supporting infrastructure. Wehehehehe, di lang kay standard cameras man na with blah blah blah megapixel, blah blah blah bit rate ug uban pa...

    And oh, I happen to be an IT Head of a Mandaue based manufacturing company with branches all over Visayas and Mindanao.

    Believe me, the cameras below (for indoors) are 20 or 30 times more expensive than your CDR-King Camera, outdoors mas mahal, outdoor + infrared + high resolution + "x" zoom capacity mas mahal.

    The storage server may start at 300K (base unit, and probably could shoot up to 500-600K depende sa imong storage requirement) per machine (Dell PowerVault on our deployment) multiply it by 2 for data redundancy, Smart UPS that costs 90K each (SmartUPS 3000VA), ug daghan pa. Wehehehehehe.. It's not cheap unless mupalit ang Cebu diha sa may mga bangketa nga namaligya ug camera.. Kana, mao nay cheap..

    Mao gyud bro! Lol!

    On-Topic:
    Kahinumdum pako sauna mga early 2000s nga nag setup mi og system for Cooperative LOAN and Credit Processing System, niabot man gani og almost 1 M, samot na kaning city wide CCTV system.

    OnT: Wa gyud nay problema bisag mahal ang CCTV system as long as naay gamit.

    Lol nag alsa man ka sa imong kaugalingong banko brader wala man ta nagpagarpar diri.

    Igo raman ko ni reklamo nga dili worth ang 15Million pesos for a 30 pieces CCTVs and its infrastructures. So based sa news report ang Hello Marketing nag nakadaog sa bidding. They are the exclusive distributor of GKB IP cameras (Hello Marketing*|*Surveillance and Communication Solutions Provider).

    And based on this report http://cloud-nvr.com/web/application...ebu%20City.pdf, GKB proposed the DZ2801 IP dome camera.

    You can buy this camera by piece if you know where to look. A source tells me this camera is worth around 80K-100K per unit. So for 30 pieces of camera alone the total worth is 3 Million. If you are still talking about DVRs, cable wires, audio wires then you must be living in stone age. Cloud age nata ron. It only needs 1 network video recorder(local) and the rests are done in the cloud (Storage karon cheap na kaayo ambot ngano issue nimo ang price ana).

    These type of cameras have built-in SD slots which can record if the NVR is not working. They are bundled with client softwares(NVR10/viewer11) which you can install in any number of machines. These software will give you access locally to the camera's functions like the PTZ OR you can use a IE browser in case you are accessing it in the moon.

    So atong i compute from the start ug kining 15M possible ba nga naay anomaliya.

    30pcs camera = 3 million
    Network video server = 500K (gaan chance)
    Labor sa pagtaod = 2 million ( grabe najud kaayo na ha ka overprice pero gaan chance)
    Miscellaneous = 500K( gaan chance)
    Modems/Routers = 1 million ( lol gaan chance)
    Total= 7 million

    So naa tay 8 million nga sobra.

    For sure naay makuha ang Hello Marketing ani ug katong gi bribe or inside contact sa government.

    "It's the system that we are paying," Zafra told his colleagues."

    I will ask you WHAT SYSTEM DOES HE MEAN? Nga halos libre naman gani tanan. These client softwares are already FREE. IE browser is FREE. Cloud NVR account is FREE. There is no upgrade license fee in case mo add up pa ug more cameras. So the city is only paying for the CCTV camera and server itself. So unsa nga system iya pasabot? LAWL. System sa imong mata.

    So assuming nalang ta nga ang city government nag leased ug Internet line exclusive para aning mga camera so mag monthly napud na ug ambooooott pila nasad kaha.

    PS: Maski asang monitor pwede kaayo na ma access nimo ang camera so save me anang mga lalis about monitors. Typical para nako nga naa jud overpricing sa mga businesses which involves bidding. Politiko pay imo. BTW, sa IT Park mao sad na nga system ila gigamit.

    pero one thing i know is regardless sa price ang cost of maintenance na magdaog. Di pod sayon mo setup aning mga cctv, nya ang mga servers pa imo, mga monitors, mga switches. hilabi na if its night vision capable.
