here's my take:
a. all of us are not born swimmers, we learn to swim because we practice; that's exactly the challenge; tread new roads and it's amazing how our body is capable of doing things we didn't expect to do; i learn swimming only when I was already 24 but it was one of the achievement i'm really proud of.
b. bike is expensive if you chose the high end ones; my first bike joining triathlon was a 2nd hand mtb bought from a friend at P5k; treat any sports equipment an investment; it will not considerably depreciate in a matter of even five years especially for weekend warriors; pads and phones changes model every year, sometimes less and i'm perplexed why people investing in these gadgets where depreciation is faster than downhill run from marco polo to jy square :-0
c. registration in a triathlon is actually at par with a 42k run but races don't happen every week not even every month. the month long or so practice is just well enough to prepare for the next race. any health investment is worth than a medicine cost.
Thanks Chono for dropping by.
